In Kenya's countryside David tells us about his polygamy marriage with his two wives and their six children. He loves his wives as he love all his children. And divides favors equally, otherwise there is no peace around. His wives also seem comfortable with the situation, although his first wife had no say in the matter. And just that was what bothered women most when the Polygamy Law was passed in april 2014 in Kenya. The law protects second and more wives against inequality in rights, but does not give women the right to known upfront if they marry a husband who is planning to have a polygamy marriage. Hi youtubers, I'm making this video to share with you the art journal I did in my traveler's notebook during my vacation in Kenya. This time, I find myself doing a lot less scrapbooking thing than my previous journals, mostly just sketches, but I sketched most of them en plein air, so they mean a lot to me even if the pages look a bit messy :p My travel log of the Kenya trip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqKtgs5d19k
This is a true story from the African Journal about how choices do create futures. It is a story of 20 single Kenyan mothers creating lives of meaning and purpose from virtually nothing. It is a story of a group of people from around the world choosing to give enough to "jump start" a dream and then to stepping back to watch it grow. It is the story of people helping people to create something special out of nothing. It is a story to remind everyone to that our choices well create who we will be and our future.
